The Story of a Seagull and of the Cat who taught her to fly

Sunday 1st August – a vibrant fundraising event is set to happen at Hoathly Hill Community, East Sussex, to raise funds for Pericles Theatre Company and our next production. We create theatre projects with adults with learning needs who are involved in all aspects of the production and work alongside professionals, amateurs with training or students in any of the theatre disciplines.
The fundraising event will be mostly outside of Arc Hall from 11am-4pm with food (BBQ and cream tea), music, arts and crafts, stalls and live performances. If you’d like to run a stall please email (£10 a stall)
Tickets on the door cost £2 for adults and kids go free.
See you there!

Formed in 1999, the award winning Pericles Theatre Company  creates projects with the essential involvement  of adults with learning disabilities. They are involved in all aspects of the production, from designing and making costumes, masks, props and set through to acting on stage, stage management, fundraising and production. We believe that we all deserve to shine in what we do and  be acknowledged as a valued and respected member of our community. Our productions are full of life, colour and delight.

“We have just completed the fourth year of the Chiddingstone Castle Literary Festival and we are now busily planning for next year which will again take place over the first May Bank Holiday weekend. The Pericles Theatre Company has been with us from the start,in 2016 and 2017 with a single performance and then we agreed two performances in 2018 and 2019 to satisfy demand! The performers all display a real enthusiasm for their roles which transfers readily to the audience and certainly enjoyed by all ages. For this year’s two performances of The Little Mermaid we had a record attendance including a significant number of adults.”
